You are responsible for the actions of all your guests (family and friends) while staying at Dainava Cottage located at 161 Chemin du Lac Dainava, including:
I understand that I have given a reservation deposit of 50%, and that if I choose to cancel my reservation, I must do so at least 4 weeks prior to the specified check-in date (If I cancel any time afterwards, I will lose 100% of my deposit.
I must leave a security deposit of $500.00 CASH at check-in (or payable by check – must be received 2 weeks prior to arrival) against any damages that may occur to the cottage. *The deposit will only be returned once the chalet has been inspected*.
THINGS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.However, there are things that are out of our control, please understand that there will be no refunds or discounts offered or expected. Examples of these types of things that are out of our control include: breakdown of electronics, appliances and boats, construction nearby, beach accesses unusable due to acts of nature. I understand that the water is supplied from an artesian well that is pumped into the cottage via a submersed pump that must be respected. There is also a septic system
I understand that I and/or my guests SHOULD NOTuse ANYwater if the power goes out!
I understand that if there is a SERIOUS problem with the cottage (no water, heat, etc I accept that I may cancel and be refunded for the unused portion of my stay.
I understand that I am allowed to use the paddle boat, rowboat & canoe. However, for security reasons, I amresponsible to ensure that every passenger on the paddle boat is wearing a life jacket. You are responsibleto provide life jackets for everyone.I understand that the paddle boat must be attached to the dock whenever it is not in use.
I agree without reservation that I absolve the landlords of Dainava Cottage (L. Ravinsky or J. Milo) of any liability for physical or mental suffering that my family, guests and / or myself may suffer as a result of any accidents or injuries that may occur while using the cottage.
